The Sultanahmet Mosque was built between 1609 and 1616, it took exactly 7years, 5 months, and 6 days, it was the reassurance of Ottoman power.
The mosque was constructed by a royal architect Sedefher Mehmet Aga who was the pupil and senior assistant of the famous architect Mimar Sinan.
