London, 20th May 2020:
HalalTravels.com, awarded for being “The Most Innovative Muslim-Friendly Online Travel Agency”, is now announcing the launch of the first edition of its Halal Travel e-magazine, Battuta.
Battuta magazine was named after Ibn Battuta, the greatest traveler in Islamic history. Following his footsteps, Battuta magazine attempts to fill the void in the marketplace by bringing Muslim friendly travel content as well as news from the Halal Tourism industry to its readers. Battuta will be published in English with a limited print edition.
Battuta magazine is created by an international team of Halal Travel experts based in London with offices in Turkey and the USA. With the launch of this magazine, HalalTravels wants to fill a gap in the Halal Tourism industry by providing high quality and timely content. Battuta’s first digital issue will be released on Issuu.com with 54 pages. At this first issue, we covered an exclusive interview with a Hijabi traveler, influencer, and food photographer, Sukaina Rajabali. We also highlighted the impact of the pandemic on the Halal Tourism industry, the Holy month of Ramadan, and the accommodation choices travelers face.
“We are pleased to launch Battuta, our new Halal Travel Magazine, to communicate effectively with our valued community. Our goal is to make travel accessible worldwide and we hope this magazine helps us fulfill our responsibility in that regard and resonates well with Muslim travelers and industry leaders,” said Veysel Gokbel, HalalTravels.com Co-founder and the Editor of Battuta Magazine.
Battuta is more than just a magazine. It will serve as the source and voice for Muslim Travel enthusiasts, key players in the Halal Tourism industry, and Muslim influencers. Our team plans to create timely cover stories affecting the Halal Travel industry and shine a light on Muslim travelers.
In addition to our newly launched e-magazine, HalalTravels.com is planning to release its newly designed website and its advanced hotel and villa search engine later this year.
